The Board Approved:
1. Board Expenditures for July 2008 in the amount of $1,095,543.04.
2. Acme Roofing & Sheet Metal as low bidder $664,000.00 for HHS Retrofit Metal Roofing Project.
3. Substitute teacher list.
4. Additional travel re-imbursement for Gary Warren in the amount of $2,257.49.

Personnel Action:
The Board of Education hired Rachel Armstrong, Bettie Creel,
Heather Evans, Joseph Faircloth, Brookie Pulliam, Emile Gilbreath,
and Beverly Masters as "High Hopes" tutors for the 2008-09 school year.
This is for Alabama High School Graduation Exam tutoring.

The Board also approved the following fundraisers:
a. HHS Library to hold Book Fair 11-3 through 11-7-08.
b. HHS Color Guard to sell Pizza Hut Cards, 10-1 through 10-31-08.
c. HES to sell cookie dough 11-3 through 11-12-08.
d. HHS Cross Country Team to hold car wash at Jack's Resturant 10-25-08.
e. HHS Band to sell Hams and Turkeys 10-15-08 through 12-19-08.
f. HHS Band and Band Boosters to have "Spirit Store" throughout the ' 08 - ' 09 school year.
g. DECA to hold car wash October 4, 2008.
